Curtis L. Merrill, 75, a 60-year resident of Deerfield, died Monday, May 31, 2010, at his home after a long illness.
Born on October 19, 1934, in Haverhill, MA, Curtis was the son of Ralph and Katherine (Dudley) Merrill.
Mr. Merrill was a Master Electrician and retired from General Electric in Hooksett after 30 years. He had also served on the Deerfield Fire Dept. for many years.
He loved being with his family, candlepin bowling, hunting, and fishing.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Anita (Perry) Merrill of Deerfield; two sons, Steve Merrill and his wife Amy and Brian Merrill and his wife Tammy, all of Epsom; two daughters, Linda Coyle and her husband Daniel of Northwood, and Susan Peront and her husband Michael of Crouse, NC; 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Beverly O’Clair of Austin, Arkansas, Sherrie Welch of Raymond, and Sandra Thurlow of Seabrook; a brother, Craig Merrill of VA; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter, Deborah Merrill and a grandson, Daniel Coyle, Jr.
